The FAS6040 can be configured with 840 disk drives totaling 840TB of capacity. The FAS6080, which scales to 1,176TB spread across 1,176 disk drives and has 64GB/sec of internal data bandwidth, can handle the largest enterprise applications. The FAS6040 will reach it’s end of service life (EOSL) on 4/30/2017.
